Eleven calls. The longest is thirty-four minutes, on the ninth of September, which is three days after I photographed the policy.
That man sat somewhere, eleven times in nine weeks, and rang strangers about money, and then came home and told me the water heater was playing up.

He was asking for help from a stranger on a Tuesday and lying to me on the Wednesday, and I was photographing it on the Thursday.
Nobody in that house asked anybody in that house for anything, for nine weeks, and all three of us were awake.
